The scheme will facilitate setting up and modernization of key elements of the value chain including
A. Post-Harvest Management Projects like:
- Supply chain services including e-marketing platforms
- Warehouses
- Silos
- Pack houses
- Assaying units
- Sorting & grading units
- Cold chains
- Logistics facilities
- Primary processing centres
- Ripening Chambers Eligible Projects
B. Viable projects for building community farming assets like:
i. Organic inputs production ii. Bio stimulant production units iii. Infrastructure for smart and precision agriculture iv. Projects identified for providing supply chain infrastructure for clusters of crops including export clusters v. Projects promoted by Central/ State/ Local Governments other agencies under PPP for building community farming assets or postharvest management projects
C.
Eligible loans sanctioned under other schemes like PMEGP/ PMFME can also be covered under this scheme. Beneficiaries then eligible for interest subvention along with Subsidy
Up to 90% of Project cost subject to maximum of ₹2.00 crores
Mandatory margin: 10% Schemes sanctioned under PMEGP/ PMFME- Borrower margin to be ensured as per the scheme guidelines subject to minimum of 10%
- Moratorium: 6 months to 2 years
- Repayment Term: 7 years (including moratorium)
- Interest to be recovered during moratorium.
- Repayable: Yearly/ Half yearly/ Quarterly/ Monthly based on the cash flow of the activity
