SATURATION DRIVE FOR JAN SURAKSHA SCHEMES

Government of India has launched “Jansuraksha Campaign” on the eve of 75th Independence Day from 15.08.2021 with an objective to create a universal social security system.

Opening of PMJDY accounts:

All adults, attaining majority in last three years i.e.2019, 2020 &2021 will be facilitated with account opening if individual does not have a bank A/C

Achieving Saturation in JanSuraksha Schemes:

Coverage of all eligible operative A/C holders under Prime Minister’s Jansuraksha Schemes (PMJJBY, PMSBY and APY)

• All operative PMJDY accounts on priority.
• Special focus on operative PMJDY A/Cs with a Quarterly Average Balance of Rs.1000/- or more in Q2, FY 2021-22.
• Standard ‘Pradhan Mantri Mudra yojana Accounts’ as on 30/09/2021.
