Chairman's Message

Dear Colleagues,

After taking charge of “Telangana Grameena Bank” I first of all, thank all my worthy predecessors who headed TGB and made it what it is today. I appreciate each member of TGB team and I recognize that we would not have achieved the growth without the contribution made by every one of TGB Staff. I am pleased to have you as part of the working team of TGB.

The Banking Scenario is changing fast and we have the committed people to play a meaningful role in this change. It requires hard work and I am confident that we have a bright future together.

I truly believe that each one of us must find meaning in our work. The Best work happens when you know that it is not just work but something that will improve other people’s lives. Every one of us need to look at their jobs objectively for giving the best and improve quality in work.

At the end of the day, we need to have a culture that our customers can believe in. If our culture genuinely reflects ‘doing the right thing’, this will be rewarded with longevity, customer loyalty and a sustainable business.

I hope that New Generation employees find their work at TGB a happy one and that our senior colleagues make all new comers feel at home & disseminate meaningful information. We are one family dedicated to doing one job “Good Customer Service” making the customer feel the best among all Banks.

We will not survive if we remain in the constricted space of doing as we are today, depending upon walk-in business and working as reactive bankers. Martin Luther King Jr. Said “ If you cannot fly then run, If you cannot run then walk, If you cannot walk then crawl but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward”. He was talking about freedom. But it applies equally to us also.

Now, it’s time for us to migrate from transaction banking to value added business. I, therefore, urge you all to “TO GO BEYOND” (T.G.B) from where we stand on daily basis.

TGB’s future success will depend on our collective commitment with values these include customer service, Team work, Accountability, Innovation and Integrity.

I am excited about developing this Institution and achieving the goal set for ourselves in coming years and for the opportunity to work with all of you to make it happen. In the process of Development of the Institution unethical, dishonest behaviour will not be tolerated. We must operate in an environment of the utmost Integrity and Honesty.

I welcome suggestions from you for improvement in the working of the Institution wherever/whatever that may be.
